Is there any chance of a re-opening?

The server crashed -- hard.

It was an old machine... left over from when ATS first went to dedicated servers.

That, combined with the low traffic, caused Ben to decided to pack it in.

There may be a chance for someone to re-open the domain, more on that in a few days.

The problem with the site is that most people will go to a sport/team specific forum of what they're interested in.

It was my source for sports discussion. I was disappointed the other day when I attempted to access the site. intrepid and I had discussed that the server probably crashed. The fact that the Chat crash coincided with SportzTawk going under, seemed plausible to connect the two.

Is there a connection or just a random coincidence?
