I'm not one to start anything with the staff of ATS, but that's a rather harsh comeback. Lots of people, myself included, love this site and expressed dismay at not being able to get their ATS fix. I'd have taken it more as a compliment that the users of the site were upset, and it's also the sign of a rather clever zinger.

But instead of a "Hah-hah! Gotcha!", suddenly the users are insulted and called whiners, and disappointment at what surely must have been an expected reaction?

As disappointed as you are with the "whiners," I'm equally disappointed in the staff members who insulted their own customers in this thread.

Its not that we're concerned about whiners, we're concered about the clown. He's upset.

The condescending tone might have been acceptable if what you have outlined above actually worked. Unfortunately, I have done all the steps outlined above several times, and no difference has been made.

Just found that. Put my cursor over the photo and it said bikerfox thumb, so I googled biker fox and came up with these sites, looks like the same guy:

I clicked treat but i can understand why those who clicked trick got upset.

Think about it for a second, you come on the site and it appears it was hacked then you click on trick and then it's all messed up.

This series of events can lead a person to believe he has been hacked him self after clicking trick so i don't think that part of the joke was a good idea.

I think I found Haxor Klowns Evil Brother or cousin...whatever.

I think this is ATS the way it should be. Unique, a break away form the ordinary, intriguing, thrilling & controversial. These are one of the reasons that makes ATS special.

Otherwise it will be just one of those ordinary forums. Aren't you guys glad to have this kind?

Perhaps we should lay off of all the name calling for now. It was a fun prank for some, for others it was upsetting. I think we should all just agree that looking back it was a hell of a joke and move on. Name calling will accomplish nothing.
