Cory Lidle, 9/11 and passports

I know there is a major difference in the size of the planes, but still, Cory Lidle's passport survived the crash and fire. Why couldn't a 9/11 hijackers passport survive. Does this remove a 9/11 conspiracy question?

I am waiting for someone to say that Halliburton owned the plane and Rove was flying it. It was all a political conspiracy for the november election.
