The difference between CT and truth seekers

its become apparent that half the posts and so called theories on this board are either from people who just want to post their opinion based on usually no real facts and want to see people agree with them or disagree so they can argue about it on the internet. Its pathetic. The other people that fit into this 50% just like to present conspiracy theories for the sake of it, cuz they think its cool, and dont care to actually dig for true facts and wouldnt accept honest truth if it hit them in the face. It ruins the credible threads and junks up the board for the other half of people who want to seek some facts and truth.

The subjects in ATS by their very nature are hard to prove. Alot of posts i read are people expressing an idea about a topic which could almost never be proved. Some posts are indeed just started to draw an audiance to play up to, but they are usualy very quickly rooted out by members and then banned by staff. I can't see a problem with a member posting an idea they have had for the comunity to see, then feedback can be given and if it merits it reserched further.

Are you citing a specific instance, or a general observation?

Obviously when you're on a site with so many people with such diverse backgrounds you'll have some nonsense threads.
