We have already tried to take over by ruling with fear. We want those fighting us to be afraid, this started with shock and awe. Those we are fighting have regrouped and they are not afraid. In order to win have to hunt down those who fight us one by one. When those we are fighting become weak enough we can build up law enforcement enought to the point where no real damage can be done. I have to add that this is not the best path because people will sufer. However this is how things have been done throughout history. We could only hope that when everything was all clear and done that life would be better for the people than it was before.

This would be something hard to do. This war has become far to political and it is making the soldiers jobs harsh. It's much to late to say, "sorry we were wrong, let's pack up and leave". We would be leaving everything we have done there to be destoryed. Including the people we have been able to help. But we have made it to where our military has to question everything they do. This is both good and bad. Some things the military should not do but other things officers might question how it would look in the media even though it may be the right thing. Today there are many people out around who just look for the worst in something. They are just looking for a way to put something down, and they see things as if there is always something wrong or shady.

So I must say that we are in a mess, and there is not great answer that going to be good for everyone. People will point fingers, people will see the good in things, people will see the bad in things. I just give those in charge the best of wishes to where things end up. This situation will ruin peoples lives.

Mohamed Atta was a comfortable middle-class muslim, as a sidenote.
