The follow up to Brut Rutans Spaceship One has been introduced in a limited way. This one is a joint project between Scaled Composites and Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic. Wish I could scrape up the $$ for a flight.

You can always get a mortage(or second) out. It'd be worth it. Or trade in millions of Virgin Atlantic Air miles

Now you've gone and done it. I see a big fight with my wife when I get home tonight and explain why I need to remortgage the house.

Maybe when SpaceShipThree is out, tickets for SpaceShipTwo rides will be cheaper?

Umm, SS3 is an Orbital Spaceplane. I would think that tickets would cost roughly 5 to 10 times more then one would pay on a Sub-Orbital Spaceplane. They shouldn't confuse the classification like this, they should have the SS series only be sub-orbit and come up with a different nomenclature for LEO craft.

Finally, some specs and mockups have been released.

Damn cool looking, nice and clean, very futuristic.
