Does any other local (nat-wide) groups have degrees or rites?

I need to compile a better list as some towns you hit the town line and you are welcomed with a ton of signs. In Windsor canada I believe I was where I saw like 25 plus signs clumped on a tree style sign post.

Also does any of them hold the rites or degrees if they so have, a secret?

Knights of Columbus have four degrees.

Knights of Pythias have three basic degrees (and a few "side" degrees)

Odd Fellows have three basic degrees (and several "side degrees)

Druids have three basic degrees and some side degrees.

Lions are a social club and NOT a fraternity and confer NO degrees.

Same with Kiwanis, Rotary, etc.

Elks, Moose, Eagles have an initiation ceremony but no "degree" per se.

The M*O*S*S* Fraternity has 19 degrees and 4 "side" degrees along with one "administrative" Order.

LOL! Yes, I couldn't help but toss that one in. It's a group several of us "fraternity guys" started a few years ago. The main object is to socialize over a fine mug of frosty ale.

i am familiar with the shriners, just never seen moss as an acronym for it.
