Iran UFO Sighting 1979 and World Events Today

Anyone remember the Iranian UFO that was spotted in 1978/9?. Two Iranian jet fighters went in pursuit of it and one of them got fired upon. Well i was thinking given the current problems in Iran at the moment, is it not inconceviable that this UFO was studying Iran before history took a turn for the worse, ie Iranian Revolution, Aotohallas (bad spelling i know) and the current regime in Iran. Could it possibly have been some sort of time ship? Observers from the future. Maybe human maybe ailen. Thoughts anyone?

If you believe that UFOs are time travellers, then yes that could make some sense, if you believe that things will get THAT worse in Iran...

Highly speculative though...

Well i do believe that UFO's are manned by ET's but in the case of the Iranian sighting i just find it a bit odd that it was seen over Iran before all the negative changes took place in the country. Too much of a coincidence, sooo i think in this particular case i think the time ship theory is a plausible one!

Well, it really depends on what you mean by plausible. Could this lead to a Hollywood movie? Maybe yes.

A- We dont know if the UFO seen in Iran is actually an ET
B- We dont know if they're time travellers
C- We dont know how bad Iran is gonna be

So, that doesnt leave much ground for a plausible theory, does it ?

Why would observers from the future need to monitor Iran in 1976? That doesn't really make any sense.
