Hugo Chavez: "We captured 4 U.S. Spies"

Very interesting story here....And yet another babbaling fest from the Venezualian President...What can America do with this growing threat? Replies are most definitley welcome...Lets here what you guys think?

What growing threat would that be exactly? The threat of detecting US spies?

Whether they were or weren't spying, he did the right thing and handed them over to the US. They're not hostages or being tortured in a Venezualan jail. How is that a threat?

the growing threat as far as the Rehtoric that they speak all the time about the U.S. .... and perhaps that they are in the midst of Arms deals with the Russians, and the fact that they are in cahoust's with Iran as well...Refer to my other thread if you want a even further explanation...There is alot going on in that country that we are not able to focus on because of other conflicts...So to say Venezula isn't the slightest threat would be living in the dark my friend

Is it because they won't bend to the will of America or more to the point, the oil industry? Nationalising the oil industry doesn't make many friends nowadays, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were rearming. Against whom? I don't know, but I doubt they'd be stupid enough to fight the U.S. Only if they got invaded of course, but who knows eh?

i dont think the U.S. and Venezula are ever really gonna go to war...At least i hope not... But i do find how hostile Hugo Chavez and all his allies are...Allies being Bolivia(which he Hugo also said if they do start exporting weapons from Russia, they might supply yet another U.S. hating leader) Iran, North Korea....I mean if you dont at least look who he surrounds himself by then you are not DENYING IGNORANCE....There is a need for concern....But how much concern is definitley debatable

He has probebly teamed up with the enemies with America, because America don't like Chavez, nor have they tried to become friends, because America are at odds with the macho socialism that Chavez sprouts. He probebly has teamed up with them because there is safety in numbers, and they could offer each other cut-price deals on machine guns and gernade launchers as well I guess. I don't agree with what he's doing, but I see why he's doing it. He doesn't want to be isolated and assassinated by some CIA person.

I don't think most Americans really care one way or the other about Chavez... it's the media that puts these issues out there and the only people who really feel like these issues matter are the ones who watch those mainstream media-outlets.

I feel that ppl that watch the news and media yea they are a lil dumber from watching all the crap that they do talk about, but at the same time you have to stay informed to some degree on whats going in the world...If not your just dust in the wind....I feel its important to get up on everyday issues in the world...better to know whats happeing than to be completely ignorant to whats going on in the world
