(CBS) LOS ANGELES A flight attendant found an unattended item on an Alaska Airlines flight from Guadalajara to Los Angeles International Airport,
where the plane landed and was evacuated, authorities said.
The aircraft taxied to a remote area of LAX after the landing, which occurred shortly before 9 a.m., said Harold Johnson of Los Angeles World
Airports, the Los Angeles city agency that operates the facility.
Authorities were examining the item, Johnson said.
