Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at an Elingsh uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in what oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer is at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by it slef but the wrod as a wlohe.

Somebody put this up a couple months ago... It's still fascinating how truly accurate it is...

I for one have terrible spelling but do go out of my way to correct the obvious mistakes out of self respect and courtesy to my fellow members...

However, it is still very important to check spelling before submitting. Poor spelling makes one appear less credible.
