Luke 6 is interesting.

In a perfect world it would work and be a great thing.

But in satan's world of chaos it is unworkable.

That is the problem, to truly be a christian you are destroying yourself and you must renounce this world.

Otherwise you have to fight with the rest of the scum to survive.

Which is it? Can I fight and still be a christian?

Is Luke 6 the truth?

If I leave this world, am I leaving it to satan and his friends and followers?

This is not likely the forum for this discussion but I wish to point out how deep the rabbit hole goes.

luke 6, as u pointed out....is unworkable,
given the chance in community today, it would cause so much destruction in the world, a lot more than whats happening now to say the least...
now tell me luke6 and communism werent made for each other!!
i dont...however support communism, or any other forms of it, just pointing out a verdict

If pro is the opposite of con, is progress the opposite of congress?

LuKe six

seems to have some serious bonds with Communism...could it be that a communistic view was encouraged from the very beginning?(meaning jesus encouraged equality...therefore)
or could it be vice/versa...communism originating from religous maniacs intent on superimposing christ's words onto reality?

this is a link for luke6 if ur unfamiliar with it's entity

Relgion is used as a means to control the people. Marx said this himself... a true communist would never encourage religion.

a true communist? and how does that apply to reality? control in a must...in all conditions, communism is a more sincere form of democracy in my oppinion.
religion is used to control people...all the more reason to establish it into society.

You could say it has "bonds with Communism", but really it's just an example of the 'all men are equal concept'. As the bible was written slightly before Karl Marx walked the face of the earth, the question SHOULD be 'does Communism have bids with Christianity?". Ironically Karl Marx had to come to London to invent Communism. Maybe he should have taken the hint at that early stage and thrown in the towel!

Religion IS often used as a manner of control, but a lot of the 'control' used in the Bible in for the good of the people, it's more a set of guidelines for a civillised society more than anything else. It's just a shame that in the 21st Century people are still following to the letter lessons designed for life in the desert a couple of thousand years back.

Oh dear. I've been spending too much time playing the Capitalist pig on Ebay! Swop 'bids' for 'bonds' and that sentence will make a little more sense!

A better example of a socialist-style society comes out of the book of Acts, describing the early church. The community lived together, and most of their resources were pooled together and handed out to those in need. The primary difference between Marx's socialism and communism ideas and those displayed in the early church is that in the early church, it was elective. No authority mandated that everyone must give all they had to the community. They freely gave so as to help and aid fellow believers. Communism forces this upon its citizens, thereby destroying any charitable element to the giving. When a government mandates giving all, there is no mercy, compassion or love involved, one is simply "giving unto Caesar what is Caesar's".

So similar, but not the same. Not by a long shot.
