North Korea Missle Testing

What is going on with this situation? The news covered a few days of it while the missles were being launched, but little is being said now. Is the U.S going to let Japan handle the situation? It would make sense because they are the ones that would be most negatively affected in the event of a North Korean attack. That, and if we did become involved, and things escalated to war, our military would be even more spread out. This, I believe would make a very negative impact on our nation. Therefore, wouldn't it make sense to let someone else handle this kind of situation for once? Just a thought. Comments?
