When will it be the start of civil war?

- Gunmen shoot and kill more than 40 unarmed Iraqi Sunnis in western Baghdad after checking their ID cards, Iraqi police tell CNN. -

So after the bomb attack on the mosque, that kick started rumours of civil war, now we have gangs going around and in cold blood shooting sunni's on the streets where they stand once they have been labeled as such.

What it doesnt make me understand though, is the US military has been finding beheaded bodies, shot up bodies, there's bombs going off in markets and so forth..

WHY IS THIS DIFFERENT enough to have it as BREAKING NEWS on the CNN(American Gvt) News site?

Mass people die every day, why make it major this day ?
