Which is more powerful, Light or darkness, each one has its own so called seen and unseen power, each one cancels out the other. So is light darkness and darkness light. It makes no sense when just asking the question but is it really that there is more to darkness and more to light than we all believe.

What do you think?

Simple there is no such thing as darkness, since light is simply wavelengths of radiation, and radiation is given off by things everywhere, even in the remoteness of space, if you can see a star then you are bathed in radiation from that star that is billions and billions of light years away.

If you are talking about spiritual light/darkness, then they are equals that can not co-exist without each other.

Try this experiment, take a very bright light, stare at it until you are blind.
Whats left? Right.... Darkness. Ok don't try that experiment.

What Legalizer said.

Darkness is just the word we use for the absence of light. If you meant in a spiritual way, then you got the wrong forum. Try Religions instead of Sci & Tech.

I was meaning as darkness as an opposit eforce of light.... Dark Matter and such, being in time and space, the event that light being created set off a darkness also, but we can not explain.

So called "dark matter" doesn't glow black or something. It's not a "force of darkness". When you hear the term "dark matter" being bandied about, they simply mean that it isn't interacting with photons (much).

Neutrinos would be one example. They just don't interact with EM fields. It's not that they have some sort of mystic black aura, photons and neutrinos just sort of ignore each other.

Dark matter is only a theoretical for of matter which has not been proven to exist. It is elusive to us like gravatons and zero point energy we cannot detect not harness it like we can light. Even still light has no opposite for of energy because darkness is simply absense of light nothing more.

All creation myths or most anyways point to sentient creation as coming from the light and often referring to the dark matter as the 'substance' of creation. The lump of clay is something in itself but not much until an intelligence has worked on it.

Who would you rather side with?

Ironically, Light is not always what you think it is. People who have worshipped in the church of satan have said that they draw from the light, and many times lucifer has been referred to the angel of light. So becareful what light you are going to because it is deceiving. Believe in Jesus and that all you need for spiritual fufillment.

Well, you might want to check out this currently active thread: Questions about dark matter, anti matter, and normal matter. Hope that that helps shed some insight.
