Seems like an interesting discovery/theory. Could explain a LOT of things, like ships mysteriously sinking in the Bermuda Triangle. Doesn't explain planes dissapearing though.

www.msnbc.com...

WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 Methane bubbles from the sea floor could, in theory, sink ships and may explain the odd disappearances of some vessels, Australian researchers reported Tuesday.

This has been a theory for a while now.

Experiments have been done on scale models and it does appear that this could account for some sinkings.

I like the resevoir of cow farts theory better.

I herd about this a few years back. That is what some people think is happening in theBermuda Triangle.

This is well known. There have been several oil rigs that have suffered this fate. There was even a show on TV about the dangers of oil rigs and all the things that could go wrong.

As far as the bermuda triangle, a combination of weird magnetics and the methane bubbles could sink a ship. Could the weird magnetics be enough to cause a pilot to ditch his plane in the ocean accidentally? Anybody know how the artificial horizon works?

i dont think this is what is causing the sinkings in the bermuta triangle.

Me too.

Why doesn't the U.S. use the methane from cow farts and such to power cars? I heard that in some places, farmers get taxed for having a lot of cows, because having the cows pollutes the air.

Not sure if that's true or not tho. lol.

I would go with that thought. But there have been sightings of weird coloured water in the triangle. Some of which they attributed to methane.

I still believe there is something even weirder than that going on.
