Anyone tried "Magneto Sonic"?

For those who don't know, this Magneto Sonic thing is supposed to produce an ultra-high-frequency sound that keeps bugs out of the area.

I am kind of paranoid about bugs like centipedes and spiders. I find them more frequently around the house than I would expect.

So I am wondering, if anyone has ever used one or heard about someone using one, if the thing works. Also, is there any evidence of the noise to anyone? I can hear higher-pitched noises than my parents (naturally), and I also get some nasty headaches. Any problems there?

Heh, this is only if anyone was brave enough to try something they saw on TV or SkyMall. Yes, that magazine they stick with the barf bag on planes...
