It has been described as the most shocking film in history.

An amazing 90% of critics are giving it the thumbs up.

It is a film that could literally change the world.

It is a new global warming documentary called An Inconvenient Truth.

Presented by Al-Gore, winner of the most votes in USA 2000, it is set to take America by storm.

Anticipation for this film is sky high. It took a staggering estimated 266,000 dollars this weekend, from only 4 screens and will open all around America over the next month.

Many believe this will be the new Farenheit 9/11.

Could it show up the Bush administration that is in denial over climate change?

With Bush, America has its head in the sand on this issue. Maybe when another Katrina comes, the American people will look at it differently and they will start to demand action.

I think, there is not enough of those documentaries, so just for that, I plan to see it, at least to encourage people to create some more.

Now, you can download an earlier Gore speech (2004, before the election, so the last third is clearly a political speech) at:

memex.naughtons.org...

So I hope the movie, will be better than this speech.

If someone saw both, let us know.

I saw this live - with Al Gore presenting it in Sundance. This is not about politics other than a little bit of the politics involved where the same techniques that were used by Big Tobacco are now being employed by Big Energy. The "campaign of confusion" used to delay the inevitable since they make billions of dollars each year in profits, well confusing the public for a few more years is a few hundred billion in the pockets of a few hundred people.

Pro or Con, you need to see this!
