The Melbourne Arcdiocese of the Catholic church has admitted, in writing, that a priest had committed acts of abuse. These events happened in the
early 60's in Sandringham.

THE Catholic Church has accepted as substantially true allegations that a Melbourne priest took part in satanic rituals in which a number of people
were murdered.
The Melbourne Archdiocese paid $33,000 to the man who made the allegations as compensation for the repeated sexual and physical abuse he suffered as a
child at the hands of the priest.
According to documents obtained by NEWS.com.au, the Archdiocese's independent sexual abuse investigator, barrister Peter O'Callaghan, QC, described
the details of the ritualised murders and sexual abuse provided by the victim as "extraordinary".

My opinion is that this is a positive move on the part of the Church. With the numbers of priests worldwide, tens of thousands, if not more, there is
bound to be a few "bad apples". By bringing this to the forfront this shows that deviant behavior will not be condoned.
