3M - Heralded As Saving Seals...

Bizzare! 3M "voluntarily" changes the Scotchguard formulation to remove the volatile organic called PFOS (perflurooctance sulphonate) in 2000 and in 5 or so years the problem in Seals has nearly vanished. 3M still maintains there is no health threat to humans from Scotchguard (or the handyman's secret weapon - Duct Tape).
