How cold does it have to be to see your breath? Weather in Ohio has been EXTREMELY COLD for the season. I've had to turn on my heat and usually shut it
down at the end of April. I've lived in Ohio all my life and for the last & years I've
seen extreme cyhanges. Anyone else have comments ? It has to be 40 here .

Here in Kentucky we call this Blackberry Winter. The May cold snap, usually the last one.

According to NOAA, this April was the warmest ever recorded.

That depends on the relative humidity. If the air already contains a lot of moisture, then it doesn't have to be very cold at all to "see your breath."

We've just started warming up again. We had a cold period here in Virginia. But there is known to be a cold period in early May. I'm waiting to see what happens.
