That's almost certainly where they went. Keep ISIS and Syrian rebels armed with AKs, so they'll continue to be a mild threat, and we can keep the 'War On Terror' alive and well.

Well, several hours after I bumped this thread, the ads on my local ABC affiliate news site were for 'Intelligence Careers' (usually the ads are based on what I've looked on ebay etc.). Awesome.
I just want to post this now, I'm not suicidal LOL
