Blue Day For Smartie Firm

Blue Smarties are to be stopped because the makers cannot find a way to colour them without artificial colouring.

Nestle Rowntree says the blue Smarties will be replaced with white ones from next month.

Today is a sad day indeed, take a moment to remember the blue smartie it has served us all well over the past years but now it must take its place in history and give way to new blood...erm...smartie rather.

NO NO NO NO NO...WE CAN'T ALLOW THEM TO DO THIS

Nestle are continuing to sell them elsewhere, it's just the british manufacturer who wont be making them. We need to start a campaign to save them !

Yeah they looked like M&M's to me, too.

Some don't know the difference between M&M's and Smarties...

We get M&M's and Smarties here in England. I 'm eating smarties now left over from my smarties easter egg and I've realised the orange ones are orange flavoured and the green ones are mint flavoured. The rest don't appear to be though. They must have different machines to make the special flavoured ones. Such dedication
smarties!

The difference between M&M's and Smarties is the oh-so-wonderful flavour of the chocolate and thicker candy shell. Mmmmm.

That doesn't mean I don't like Rockets, they are yummy too. But they aren't Smarties!!!

Seriously, you Americans are getting hosed on this one. Smarties are waaay better than M&M's.
