Mount St Helens has been very quiet over the last few weeks, but last Thursday night she let loose with quite a display.

Perhaps there is another eruption brewing?

Strictly speaking she's been erupting since October 2004. The fascinating thing is that the rock that she's been producing is old magma, nothing new so far. Once she's cleared her throat then we'll see what she does!
And the cool thing is that I'll be driving through Washington State in August, so I might see her! I'll certainly see Rainier and Hood, and Adams as well - maybe even Three Sisters! (Does a volcano-inspired happy dance.)
