How in trouble are we??

James Madison said two centuries ago,

"We are free today substantially, but the day will come when our Republic will be an impossibility. ... A Republic cannot stand upon bayonets, and when the day comes, when the wealth of the nation will be in the hands of a few, then we must rely upon the wisdom of the best elements in the country to readjust the laws of the nation to the changed conditions."


Has this day arrived?

The founding fathers were wise men who understood the true nature of man. They also understood that any man who gives up his freedom for security deserves neither. People are starting to wake up to govt shenanigans, but something bad usually happens when that starts to occur so we could be in for a rough ride.

I just hope America can hold it together long enough for my unborn son to enjoy what little freedom we have left. I hope thats not selfish of me to say.
