This will most likely become subtropical, but still this early...

That low should not be an invest. The water temps are not warm enough to support tropical or sub-tropical development, the shear is very high, and the system itself is a Nor'easter like system with a front attatched to it. For it to have a chance of being sub tropical it will have to seperate aitself from the front.

This is just likely a test to get the system ready for the upcoming season.

Tis non-tropical, so it is not the first invest of the season, if you meant tropical season.

Note the date, change it to 2005 and it's the same one they issued last year for Arlene. "Test , this is only a test" maybe should of been the email header.

Gotta love the loop that is forecasted, it means lots of waves for everyone on the east coast. Not so good if you want to enjoy the beach in the next 5 days or so because the conditions will be extremly dangerous for swimmers.

I am a few steps away fro the beach waiting for the mega swell to get here and the winds to go way.

I was looking at this last night and thinking, 'Wow, what a lot of stuff coming out of Africa'.
