A Syracuse father was released on bail and returned home yesterday despite admitting to police that he raped his 11-year-old daughter, who then committed suicide.

"The people from his church got together and bailed him out," Onondaga District Attorney Bill Fitzpatrick told the Daily News. "I really don't know what it takes to get people outraged these days."

Ugly details. Reason for the church helping him is not in the article. Do you feel outraged?

Of course.

This just shows you yet another reason i find Christians to be vile. They tolerate this #, Ive seen it happen in the church with Youth Pastors having sex with thier students. The # that goes on within the church, and thier old boy network of bailing thier miserable congragation members out of trouble even when they are guilty makes me #ing SICK!

Christ Insanity at its finest. A member of the church commits a heinous act liek raping his own child who kills herself in grief, and the church wants to talk about gods love and forgiveness?

Sorry, I dont believe in forgiving or forgetting. This sorry son of a bitch needs a dose of the elfs love, to the tune of a red hot poker being crammed up his miserable ass while rats feast on hsi flesh.

This sint the only case. I cant even begin listing these sorts of things when someone commts a horrible act, the church, forgives him, as long as they repent to thier "god".

But ill start.

1. A pastor at my cousins church fully admitted sex with one of his youth, and she was a 16 year old, and not only did they forgive him, but even allowed him to marry her.
2. A church meber at my church drove drunk, crashed his car, and killed a couple of college students. The church bailed him out, paid for his defense, forgave him, and he got off.
3.Another church member was caught subscribing to child porn. Wiith accusations from his now grown children that he had molested them, the church basically blew it all off, let him repent, and all is forgotten.
A church elder was caught playing with the money and stealing it. They took him off his office, but never pressed charges. he stole quite a bit of money and never returned it. Instead, they soaked the congregation with guilt and tried to raise the money back.

Christianity is a sick cult.

Two things will put me into an immediate furious rage. One of them is sexual abuse...the other would be a man beating a woman or child. If I were to witness either of those acts, I garuntee you the outcome would not be pretty...

As I have said before
All organized religion should be banned, worldwide.

All that organized religion has ever achieved in the history of man is death and servitude.
Don't get me wrong. I think everyone should have the right to worship whatever "god" or holy platypus they want privately. What we don't need is this rediculous division of the human race because one group believes this book and the other believes a different one.
It's stupid and counterproductive.

Because banning something gets rid of it totaly. It certainly doesnt make things more violent and intense. Organizing religious meetings a crime? Only if I can be the religious version of Al Capone.

Well said Viper, I am axactly the same way. I have had to be pulled off of guys in parking lots that were part of the slap-a-ho tribe. I could kill the f'n lot of them.

As far as this article, what pisses me off is that the judge allowed the man out on bail. I am near syracuse and the local papers said, and I quote, "The judge let the man out on bail as he was no longer a threat to his daughter".

XCUSE ME. He #ing drove her to suicide. What a bunch of #ing bull#.

It sure would limit these so called "leaders" of whatever religion initiating things such as Crusades, Intifadas and Jihads.
Would it not?

True. But once such a law was passed we'd see tons of people from almost every religion attacking government buildings and employees attempting to take down the antichrist.

Yes, theres your problem, you cant legally ban them, and Id not want to ban even the Xtians from thier worship.

There are other ways however, and one is remvoing thier religious taint from pub;lic state owned govornment buildings and institutions. Sorry guys, the constitution that you think gives you the right to push your religion to the state bans just that. Seperation of Church and state. Period.

And further more, if more communities became unfriendly towards christians, and harrassing churches who propigate and continue to harbor thier criminal congregations, the churches would be faces with something totally elgal: social opstascism.

Make it as unpleasant and social ridiculed to be a Christian as it is to be a Muslim. The younger generations thankfully, are moving further and further away from Christ insanity because they realize what a ridiculous bunch of crap it is.

This si shown by the huge decline in attendance of church nationwide. Tho many people profess to believe in a god, the rapid loss of church membership and the empty pews on sundays speak for themselves.

According to christian beliefs who would go to hell? The girl for killing herself? After all isnt suicide pretty much the only unforgivable sin? He'd just have to pray a little bit and he'd be forgiven and go to heaven, but she'd end up being punished forever? Gotta love divine justice. Or does christianity have loopholes and minimum ages?

Effective, but brutal solution... have the man shot in the back of the head on national TV and condemn the Church's brainwashing tactics.

Na Zdrowie!

Well now....let's define Separation of Church and State a little further...

How are you viewing the separation of church and state? I think I said it before, but I'll say it again in case I didn't.

When I was taking my government class in high-school, we spent about a month and a half on the constitution. We read every word, broke down every point, memorized parts, and defined the terms as they would originally be interpreted when the Constitution was drafted and approved.

If you follow your history, the separation of church and state was to keep the STATE from controlling the CHURCH.

It had happened in England when their government told them that they could only go to the Church of England and practice it's doctrines.

That is where the term "Separatists" was coined. They were 'separating' themselves from England and it's established church.

In order to prevent this from happening in America, it was written and sealed in the Constitution that it would be unlawful for the government of the United States of America to support one religion over another, forcing it's citizens to attend one and only one church. That is where you get your freedom to believe whatever doctrine you wish. It was not, however, to keep the influence of the church out of the government.

I garuntee you that this is the way it was originally intended to be interpreted.

Now through the course of events, we have allowed the Supreme Court to have their way with the Constitution and fall away from it's original meaning and intent. They took it as far as to say that the CHURCH must be separated from the STATE. They twisted the intended interpetation to mean the exact opposite of the original meaning. In its entirety, the separation of church and state was obviously to give people religious freedom.

The statement about a wall of separation between church and state was made in a letter on January 1, 1802, by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association of Connecticut. The congregation heard a widespread rumor that the Congregationalists, another denomination, were to become the national religion. This was very alarming to people who knew about religious persecution in England by the state established church. Jefferson made it clear in his letter to the Danbury Congregation that the separation was to be that government would not establish a national religion or dictate to men how to worship God. Jefferson's letter from which the phrase "separation of church and state" was taken affirmed first amendment rights. Jefferson wrote:

I contemplate with solemn reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church and State. (1)

Found here: www.noapathy.org...

The separation of church and state protects everyone equally. It protects the Atheists, Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Christians, and any other religion...it is to protect YOU....why does everyone always have this pre-formed notion that the separation of church and state is a one-sided issue?

Ocelot -
sounds like a good plan...I'd be honored to join you!
