‘The influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 killed more people than World War I (WWI), at somewhere between 20 and 40 million people. This event has been cited as the most devastating epidemic in recorded world history. More people died of influenza in a single year than in four-years of the Black Death/Bubonic Plague.*
Adding to that, even today, flu is raging on and killing innocent people year after year. Hence, with these facts put in place, it is time to wake everyone up from their slumber.
To take Flu lightly would be ignorance. Even with all the technological advancement of the 21st century, Flu still possesses the ability to plague the world once again. With that in mind, it is time to take the threat of this potentially deadly disease seriously and do something about it.
Well, the answer hangs in a dilemma!
the looks of it, right now, no other weapon appears to be as potent as Tamiflu that can help with the counter attack.

Purpose of post is . . . ?

It's not like the people in this thread are ignorant to the fact that influenza is a deadly killer, especially so relatively recently as the human race grew secure in its little world of computers are digital TV. H5N1 is really shocking some people back to their senses. People and governments.

Bout time, too.
