Spooky Source

Construction work is ongoing at the former Danvers State Hospital in Danvers, Mass. Though once described as "the scariest building in the world," AvalonBay Communities is constructing 497 luxury apartments and condominiums on the site.

OMG, would you be caught dead living here? I sure wouldnt. It doesnt say much in the article, but people hear screams at night

My nerves couldnt stand it. I wonder if the walls bleed?

I'll bet there will be jackloads of people wanting to live there, just for the novelty factor.

Plus it lends itself to some great marketing strategy.

"Wacky Al's Haunted Condos. Insane prices! Crazy location! Our amenities are soo good, it's scary! C'mon down and get nutz!"

I'd buy it and turn it into a bed and breakfast instead

Loads of people want to stay the night in places like that. They travel all over looking for these places.

I guess you are all right. There's enough exentric people out there who will pay top $$$ for something like this.

If you can sell a ghost on Ebay, there's no end to the possibilities here.
