Based on location and layout, I'd say it's a mining facility.

No, those are structures not pits. You can tell by various shadows on various objects but that's about all the evidence there is at this
resolution.
If it were a mine it'd be more concentrated (no mining operation is spread across so many different ore-bodies) and it would have a significant main
access which it does not.

There also seems to be a rather interesting place just to the east of there.
Looks like an earthen runway with bunkers and also appears to be some cratering around the area at coordinates
37 Degrees 24'41.68 Minutes North 116 Degrees 13'36.98 Minutes West
Also this area has very good resolution. Does anyone know what this is

Yes Ive also been stewing over that Google image and a few others similarly laid out. Looks like bunkers a bit to me but Im no expert may also be
seprated test area's or exposed high traffic entries.

This is the Tolicha Peak facility I believe, but I'm not sure what actually goes on there. Anyway the images of it on the new Yahoo Maps are really
clear, so check it out.

According to this thread it's part of Area 19.

Yes there is. Flashearth link:
Area 19 Dead Horse Flat
There are at least two of what resemble landing strip near that site. One at SW and one at NE. I don't think either of those are 'the hidden
landstrip' as mentioned here.

Area 19 is nothing more than a power line that ends in the middle of nowhere, which was previously used during nuclear tests. There are no runways in
area 19, except maybe the frankly ridiculous "Cheshire Strip"!

Supposadly, they no longer conduct nuclear test out there. According the the book Dreamland Cronicals, the Nuclear testing in Area 19 was ended
after the 1970's when one of the test detroyed some of the equipment!
However, there are roumors of an underground laser weapons facility that was used to support classified research related to SDI. If they do test
lasers in an underground test range, this could explain the Power Lines. Strange, I know, but not impossible! If the facility is nothing but
underground labs, maybe they have no need for a runway, and therefore do not have one!

Looks like nuclear missile silos. I have seen this before in the hills behind Los Angeles, Minot, and Russia.

Minot AFB in Montana. I believe it is the Air Command or something like that.

You're thinking of Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana... which is the command center for most of the ICBM silos housed in MT, WY, ND, SD.
There is, however, a Minot AFB just north of Minot, North Dakota, but is basically just a fighter wing base.
