The greatest Female Villain has gotta be:

Kathy Bates as Annie Wilkes in Misery. (1990)

Now that's one scary woman!

Another great bad guy, one of Bob Deniro's best roles IMO. An absolutely menacing individual.

Max Cady in the movie Cape Fear - " Councilor! COME OUT, COME OUT WHERE EVER YOU ARE!!"

Christopher Walken when he plays the roll of Max Shreck in Batman returns, not sure?

Clarence Boddicker & Boyz from Robocop? Well they sure have a good laugh!

I think my best bad guy is Wez from Mad Max 2

Browno,

talking about Clarence Boddicker & Co. isn't it funny as hell when Mr. Toxic-waste-melting-man gets turned into sludge with a truck!

Hilarious!

My Favorite Villain has got to be, Bill "The Butcher", William Cutting.

Daniel Day Lewis oozed Evil, yet at the same time you almost believed that this was a real man. Also his viewpoints in the movie, and his actions were not entirely "Evil" they were gray shades of Patriotism.

He treated the Elderly and Children well, but at the same time that only applied to "American Born"

He also gave non-american's a chance to become like him and his viewpoints.

This guy in D&D terms personifies to me Lawful Evil.

My Thanks,

Here's a good one that nobody mentioned:

You have to see it to believe that he could be that...creepy.

Although they are just nobodies, I like the Violent Punks in the Robocop films, the train scene in Predator 2 and the ones in the beginning of Terminator 1.

The scrap gangs in Demolition Man

They are all kind of the same, pshycopathic punks and apocolyptic biker gang types.

Howabout the bad guy in Highlander?

The Bad Guy was very Cool, He was known as The Kurgen. The Actor's name is Clancy Brown. He also plays another great BadGuy role in the HBO series Carnivale.

He doesn't start out bad but his evil nature, eventually seeps to the surface and consumes him in Carnivale.

Great series, look it up on in-demand HBO

One of my all time favorites. Clancy Brown was awesome in the Highlander. They did most of the stunts themselves. The sword fight at the end, the electrical effects were cheaply done with car batteries more or less. Real live electricity. Plus the animation scene after the Kurgen gets killed is as gnarly as they come. Good flick

A classic villain would have to be The Wicked Witch Of The West from the movie The Wizard Of Oz with her Flying Monkeys

Another two would have to be the Alien from the Alien movies and the Predator from the Predator movies and the two faced-off in Alien Vs. Predator

And The Candyman from the Candyman movies. When you repeat his name five time in front of a mirror he'll appear!

And if your afraid of clowns..............

It's Pennywise from the movie It.

I'm not afraid of clowns but I'll admit Pennywise is a little creepy.
How 'bout inviting him to you party.

I have always been more partial toward the flying monkeys, now they knew how to party..lol...with their little suits and whatnot. And yeah...Pennywise was pretty creepy for sure. I have always hated clowns with a passion, not so much a fear, just a severe distrust and nothing but utter comtempt for them. Never turn your back on a clown.

For a different type of bad guy, how about James Woods as the murdering racist Klansman Byron Delay Beckwith in the movie Ghosts of Mississippi. Now there was a guy you could really hate. Gotta give it to Woods, he played a heck of a role there.
