Those who believe the US government is lying about the events that transpired on September 11th 2001 have been waiting for the day that the mainstream
media would address the issue. That day came has come and the critical mass of popular opinion regarding the lies and cover-ups of 9/11 is spreading
like wildfire.
On 20th March Charlie Sheen was interviewed on radio by Alex Jones. In the interview he expressed his astonishingly well informed views on the events
of 9/11. He termed the official series of events on that day as the real conspiracy theory.
Following that interview the CNN program, Showbiz Tonight, interviewed Alex Jones on the Sheen interview. In the 6 minute, live and unedited interview
Jones implicated the US government, via the "military industrial complex", in perpetrating the 9/11 attacks. This represents the first mainstream
media segment expressing this accusation.
According the the CNN show the responses they were receiving about the Sheen interview were astounding. They said their "email inbox was overflowing"
and they launched a poll asking their viewers whether or not they agreed with the views expressed in the Alex Jones interview. At the time of my
writing this piece
82% (a whopping 23,836 of 29,066 votes) agreed with Charlie Sheen in that the official 9/11 story is a lie.
To say that this whole interview story has spread like wildfire would be an understatement. Hundreds of blogs and newspapers have either villified
Charlie Sheen personally whilst totally avoiding the substance of his interview, or they have surprisingly attempted to portray Sheen as crazy but
included (unchallenged) every point he raised in detail.
As Charlie Sheen said in the interview "the worm is turning" and the whole 9/11 conspiracy theory has now gone supernova. It is now a mainstream
topic.
