Well I have a Hi-8 DV cam I can do it with. Ya want I should just put the cone on and let it run at the sky? How long you want the cone to be? Or are you talking more cylindrical?

Ok, so if the lens opening is say, 2 inches at the lens, whats the ratio to the other end?

Not really important actually. Just make sure you have a long whatever, absorbing light, making it as dark as possible at the lens area.
