Just a day after my grossly unfair accusation that Dubya could not drive a computer, now this!

Sadly, I found the website to not be functional, like the 'president' who is blogging at it (or being written about).

I will try again later.

I have a sinking suspicion that someone else does the blogging for him.

Plus its not really a BLOG per se... he probably just wanted that term because it is hip and cool and reaches a younger audience.

You don't say!

Have you been able to get to the site to have a look?

I can't see anything at www.georgewbush.com at the moment, let alone the blog.

The power of nyeff's publicity has overtaxed the President's own website!!!!

If the president has the time to write a blog then he is not doing his job.

Hmmm...strange MA.
I have no problems acessing it. its even been updated since yesterday.
I would not think its GWB doing the writing though. It says post by "George w. Bush.com."
Not King George himself.

Strange indeed!

I just tried it again now, no result (server of DNS error).

I suspect it's a timing/traffic thing, or that Dubya doesn't want me to know any more about what he is doing (or purports to be doing) than I know already.

Is it too late?

There's so much that I'd like to get off of my chest. Actually, I'd like to find someone to beat the ever-lovin-snot out of, clean Hoku stuff referee and all, somebody over 240 lbs so we're matched straight up.
I think once attained, the adrenaline & endorphin pop of battle ( sparring/rugby/soccer/football...pick ya poison) is a tough jones to do the daily grind without.

Well, a blog will do for now......

Wow
Why would he have a blog? Does he even write in it?

It is likely all fiction. Is there going to be stuff in there about the secret meetings etc?

US training of Iraqi solders creates more than just military bonds

Iraqi Civil Defense Corps recruits and U.S. Army Sgt. Dujon Moss built a trusted friendship during the process of reconstruction in Iraq. Iraqi soldiers or military college students commend their American drill sergeant after completing training, ready to help protect their newly freed country.

The U.S.-led coalition plans to recruit and train about 21,000 corps members by February. They will staff checkpoints, protect convoys and try to root out loyalists of ousted President Saddam Hussein, who are still well-armed and mounting daily attacks in some parts of the country. After Iraq has a constitutionally elected government, the corps is likely either to continue as a national guard or be folded into the new Iraqi army.
At the recent ceremony, 228 men graduated. Moss helped train 55 of them.

As an instructor, Moss wanted to teach more than just military skills. "I wanted to give them hope," he said, "to let them know they are somebody and they can be successful if they just apply themselves."

"Now we've learned the real meaning of being a soldier," he said. "We are quite ready to serve our country, and now I am starting to love Americans because we actually met here people such as Sgt. Moss."

Aha!

His blog is about real men, and people doing the jobs they are paid to do, more or less. Not about himself. Good.

Thanks folks!

On thread, alter egos/ghost writers and such: GW is the Uber Alpha in many folks eyes...so who's to say the writer doesn't think he really is Dim Son?
