Hi I am new why does that meter show paranoid?

Its showing paranoid because there is currently more activity in the conspiracy related forums than the general chat forums....or it could be because the site can read your mind and tell that you are just as paranoid as the rest of us

I take it you mean the one on the main page? Well, as everyone posts the mood meter changes according to where the majority of posts are going. So if everyone posted in the chat forum then the mood meter will go down.

Also everyone has there own personnal mood meter in their mini-profile on the left.
