The leader behind the terrorist attacks around bangladesh
Last August where they set off some 500 bombs all but one of Bangladesh's 64 districts in the space of an hour. Three people were killed and about 100 injured.
He has been captured alive after over 36 hours of stand off outside the leaders home in sylhet.
The fugitive leader of an outlawed Islamic militant group has surrendered to police in Sylhet in north-eastern Bangladesh after a 30-hour stand-off.
Abdur Rahman gave himself up with two others early on Thursday and was taken away for questioning, police said.

He leads the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen (JMB) which officials blame for a wave of attacks in which at least 28 have died.

Prime Minister Khaleda Zia went on national television to praise what she called a blow against extremism.

this is very good and great blow to extremists operating in bangladesh.
since they want a whole islamic rule and bangladesh and dont want a law desprived from the british legal system which bangldesh currently uses.

I was there when one of the bombs went off in sylhet (would have been right near it if I wasnt 30min behind).
The reaction from the authorities was very fast (road blocks were set up in matter of 30-60min around the cities.
