private sector black ops - afghan/pakistan border

I have just heard some hearsay regarding black ops on the afghan/pakistan border. My friend's stepfather (an ex US marine) is apparently contracted with Lucent Technologies as a paramilitary hitman to take out jihadist that pose a threat to Lucent's intrests in the region. He is apparently living in caves by day and working as an independently contracted sniper by night. When asked if he has actually killed anyone to date, his response was, "Its certainly an active sport." My friend describes his stepfather, now 55 years old, to be a US/white supremecist facist with a black ops background in both vietnam and the first gulf war who has found a new energy following a midlife crisis.

Now this is all hearsay at this point... I've never met the man, but please help confirm or disprove.
