I always giggle a bit when I see your name. Reminds me of a cartoon with someone running is circles screaming that. A perfect fit for ATS!

Anyway, about your post. Its a nice system for the money.
I wish I had it.

Looking over the list, here are some changes I might consider....

The TwinMOS ram is special, but I dont think you'll be happy with just 512 mb of ram (2ea 128 mb sticks). I would hold out for a gig (cost about 47 more) or two (cost about 126 more). see here

Also, XP Home? Go for the Pro Edition if possible. +53 but its worth it.

About the hard drive, I note that they list the Maxtor DiamondMax 10 250GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM for the same cost, but its 16mb instead of 8mb like the one in your list.

A final note is that a 17 in monitor is really not very large. Particularly if you like games. They list the BenQ 19" LCD T905 TCO99 Monitor, Silver/Black, 12ms for just +66 more. You will be much happer with the extra size I think.

47
53
66
166 Total additional cost

Just thinkin out loud here, not trashin your choise, (its better than what I have right now).

Best of Luck

The only thing I would change is, get a SLi motherboard. You don't have to have two graphic cards but you can use 2 when you get the money.

I completely agree with the guys above... Spot on! I would just like to ask (more than suggest) why no soundcard? The type of sound you're getting from onboard sound is not bad, I guess, but it's far from top of the range... If you're going for top of the range, you're going to need a decent card you want to plug those 7.1 surround speakers (which you don't mention?) into for the full-on gaming experience... Just a thought.
