I wonder why actors and actresses elect themselves spokespeople in these political - military matters. Well I guess with Arnold running for governor perhaps I just answered my own question. Is Bruce Willis considering running for office?

You don't read about it anywhere in the United States. And I was actually watching, you know, the news here in Washington last night, and it's -- it's just baffling to me that after we've, you know, successfully taken down a known gangster, known terrorist, who was in power in this country for 30 years, that anyone would suggest that we just abandon, you know, the Iraqi people now. It's just crazy to me.

He needs to buy some publicity for a flagging career.

There is not an increasing level of demand for balding one-dimensional action hero figures. Younger guys with better physiques take their place in the non-event called Hollywood.

Yeah. I agree with Masked.

besides, he was such a badass in Die hard, why doesnt he fund his own bounty hunt on saddam and collect the cool 25 mill reward anyway?

He was a sucky actor anyway.

I remeber a kid on ebay offering 5 dollars to anyone who would go kill bin laden. It was pretty funny.

I think it's the Hollywood mindset -

Any publicity is good publicity.

Even if Willis doesnt have a film coming up......... or maybe he does??......... at least no one will be asking " who is Bruce Willis"

Willis is a moron.

Everytime i watch a Die Hard movie, i wish that the Willis (John McLaine) dies..

But that never happens.. sad..

He thinks that he is somekind of #ing bad ass, but he really is only a actor..

The Die Hards macho bull# has taken over his brain.. (if he ever had one..)

It irks me that there are many bad things going on in our own country, but Hollywood looks past that to others in the world. I am all for helping out those in need, and yes there are many places in this world in more dire need of help than us, but I would be more grateful to one of these actors if they helped out the homeless or gave money to help fight drugs. And if we are going to have Aids benefits, why does the money not go to education and protection for those that need it the most? It just seems like people have the wrong priorities. If I had not been stupid and ran up those credit cards, I would actually have money to share with those in need in my community.

This is a great ideal.

A person that has benefited a great deal from what the US is about is willing to put his money where his mouth is.

You really should 'tone down' a bit..

You are starting to make many people nervous..
With all these far-right views that you have..

I was stating my opinion period.

I was not referencing anyone else.

your comment 'money shouldn't matter but unfortunately it does to some people' could be implied as a slight towards me.

I did correct your spelling of shouldn't by the way.

If you meant that it matters to people that would capture him than say so. Much more clear, that is all.

Regarding left wing, consider this?

why would people from all over the world spend a lot of time talking about two subjects primarily, being the US and George Bush?

it could be because they are greatly affected in their day to day lives because of the two entities mentioned. But let us be honest with our selves now, the reality is that the direct influence in their lives is not great, despite their protestations to the contrary.

So why the obsession? Well let us consider what these two entities represent in the world. One they represent power, or the status quo. Two they represent presently at least what we call 'capitalism' as in the case of US and on the other hand 'republicanism' in the case of George Bush.

I increasingly notice that it is the same 'individuals' in the same parading line with the same directive coming from them.

For myself I have no problem admitting that I am right of centre and generally in support of US policies. I believe in business as a more efficient method of economic production and I believe stability comes from military strength and a dominating force. Yes that force must be moral and valid and I see that in the US as much as any past empire the world has ever seen, if not more so.

In time this will pass too. Then the attackers will be happy. Hopefully this will take some time.

Coming back to your response yes we talk about our opinions true, if that is the case then there are differing opinions and I HAVE THE RIGHT TO STATE MINE AND NOT BE TOLD THAT I AM A BAD PERSON FOR IT.

thank you.

Fulcrum,

you are starting to scare me for the following reasons:

1. You are fixated on the military.
2. I'm not sure which side you are on, or do you know?
3. You are quite mouthy.
4. You are yet to admit that you are wrong about something.
5. You feel the need to attack people that rightly make comments about your aggressive behaviour.
6. You are biased because there are people that post here that are VERY LEFT WING and that is OKAY?
7. You remind me of a person that is not interested in free speech.

please reply if you disagree with any of those points.

furthermore I did not appreciate you comments to me regarding the most effective plane of all time and I will prepare a response so stay tuned for that.

THENEO,

1. So i am.. as i am ex-military by myself, and i like the 'tecnical side' of the weapons..

2. It really depends.. i am usually in the side that is more right / just.
3. I am not, i just am mostly right.. and trying to make others see what i see.
4. I have been wrong.. rarely.
5. I only 'attack' if the claims are unjust / untrue.
6. What? I am not a 'lefty'.. last time i checked i voted for the 'right'.
7. No comments..

And ok,

I will stay tuned.
