TV trends

Anyone noticed that in the last few years there are more and more tv shows about ghosts and paranormal encounters and less and less about alien abductions which in the years previous there were many? Wonder what it could mean?

Unfortunately, IMHO, its nothing but that, a TV trend. Just look at all the influx of "reality" shows that has also been happening. And you can even look at movies and say the same thing, right now the big thing for movies seems to be super heroes, mainly from comic books, does that mean anything? Probably not, except for the fact that its obviously making lots of people money otherwise some other subject would be predominant around the entertainment industry. So unfortunately thats about all that can be said about this subject.

Problem is, is that TV viewers want to see some action, they want to see mediums that get results, unfortunately that also opens the door to fakery just for ratings.
Most Haunted is supposed to have a new medium soon, supposedly more realistic and believable, we'll see.
I just can't take the show seriously anymore since it's been tainted.
