Has anyone else notice that:

Credit Card Applications hace "d o not discard" written on the outside envelope

and

are usually at least two pages long

is this designed to make them harder to throw away?

Why would that be desireable

Any thoughts

Well, not so much a conspiracy because it's all out in the open. They want you to keep it, they want you to join, and they want you in debt to them paying a monthly amount for the rest of your life.
