For some time, I have been recieving notices of U2U's in my Mcenter
I go to read them, and find that they have already been opened...
These are usually across the board announcements, that everyone gets, so there is nothing special in them... BUT.. ahhh ha... always the BUT!
Am i truly getting them all, or is someone pre-reading my U2U's and erasing any good ones?
I suspect a board glitch or a hacker on the boards...
can you all check this out for me?

I have 2 new ones in my u2u box, that i haven't "opened" but both show to have been read.

This is a long-standing bug in the original XMB code that I've had trouble tracking down.
There's been a few threads on this in the past. There seems to be some odd relation to the sender's name. For example, nearly all u2u's I get from
Valhall come across as already read... where nearly all u2u's from Springer never appear "unread" even after I read them.
I spent a day on the problem once and lost more hair than it was worth.

interesting... my incidents also revolve around Val, and the admin staff...
none of the regular u2us that i can think of, came across as read...
maybe a clue...
now go sacrifice the rest of that balding pate to solve this issue...

I've found that the u2u's that never appear as read happen to me only when the sender has typed my name inccorectly - Parrhesia instead of
parrhesia.
I know when I've sent intrepid a u2u, but typed Intrepid rather then intrepid if I look into my outbox it will never appear as read even though he
has recieved it.
The only u2u's I get that come across as already read are the Admin announcements.
