Sure, I gotta' job :bnghd: just did get the web manager to allow ATS thru the filters now I'm back to my usual at least until a user calls

NotClever probably doing the same thing I am doing. Sitting on the phone all day dealing with customers, while you spend countless hours on ATS and ignoring the resonsibilities you should be working at.

ATS is not blocked on this server and I would probably turned my desk upside down if the day ever came where it was.

I installed the capability to do my job remotely NOT gonna' jump up and run every time someone's login pukes 'bout died when the new filter went online and ATS was blocked....

I am on the phone with a moron right now, who sold this guy a computer?

I ask him to click on the start menu so he powers his computer off.

I'm not in 'the business', but I can sympathize with your frustration in dealing with the public.

I used to work at a restaurant, and I could tell you some stories of my own.

It is from those experiences that I learned to hate people!!!

Anyway, ever notice that when some people order food at a restaurant, they are never satisfied, or happy with what they just ordered?

Or the ones that think everything should be free?

I had this customer once who wanted extra this and extra that, they asked for so much extra stuff it was like getting two for the price of one!

And one poor lady made me so mad, that I told her 'If you don't like it here, go to McDonalds!!!'. Almost got fired for that one....hehe.

I quit there vowing never to work somewhere where I would have to deal with the public!!!!!!!

They are evil!!!

Story time is a happy time. You ever have somebody try to pay the bill in all change?

Never had to do that, but there have been several occasions where I had to pay my bus fare all in pennies!

And other times when my luck (and fortunes) was down, I have had to take all of my change to the bank to cash it in, for some paper money, so I would'nt be stuck in that predicament!

And another time, I had asked a girl at work if she wanted to grab a bite to eat after work, she finally said yes (after maybe a half dozen tries), only to find when I went to pay (by credit card) my credit card was declined!! And I had maybe $2.00 in my wallet!! She had to pay the bill!

Way to go ace!

You could probably tell how the rest of that story went............

Onto something more important.. ever do or see something happen to food that the customer would not like?

I washed dished for awhile in high school. Every now and then, when the cook had loaded up on scotch, he'd drop a steak on the floor....walk to the pot washing sink...scrub the steak with one of them metallic scouring thingies...finish it up and throw it on the plate...

Sure have!! Was flipping a burger (more than once) and it fell on the floor.

I looked around, brushed it off, and threw it back on the grill!!

I feel bad about that now though!

Moral - Never Ever pi$$ off the people that serve you food!! And always leave a tip for the wait staff, if you go there often!!
