device looks through concrete walls

Hmmm, this device could be used to look into cargo containers as well as concrete buildings.

Just think, you could use this device as a motion dector for your home or office, it could see through walls to detect fires or flooding water not to mention a burgler ! Wow, you could even use it to locate pests and rodents in the walls, I want one !

WASHINGTON, Jan. 3, 2006 – Troops conducting urban operations soon will have the capabilities of superheroes, being able to sense through 12 inches of concrete to determine if someone is inside a building.

Nice device. It can detect breathing through the wall, so I imagine it would report alot of false positives with appliances in the same room such as refrigirator, ventilation fans, clocks, etc... But I'm sure DARPA are smart enough to figure a way to filter that noise out.
