Hi,

Last month I had saw a news broadcast that talked about how Google and the USGS have developed a virtual helicopter tour of the Hayward fault. So I went to the site and downloaded the tour:
quake.wr.usgs.gov...

I was already using Google to pinpoint the coordinates of some minor quakes that had stuck here in the San Francisco bay area at the time. I mean I knew about the Hayward fault but I really didn't know how far it extended and how hard we could get hit.

Yesturday, I put in the coordinates for the 2.6 - SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CALIFORNIA &

2.6 - SAN PABLO BAY, CALIFORNIA from the day before.

To me these were pretty close to the Hayward fault, at least the San Pablo Bay one was, when I compared it to the tour graph. The one further south seemed to be out of the range of the fault but I was just wondering, if it could still have some relation?

Also, I had felt two minor quakes last month (a 2.7? or a 2.9?). I can't recall the second one's magnititude either (a 3.8?). I do know the first one was near Orinda and the second one was located somewhere near Danville. Could someone help me locate these two quakes?

Thanks much for your time and answers in advance,
DearWife
