when you edit posts and remove the images and then shrink them and then put them on

why dont you lot just upload using this
www.imageshack.us...

that way you can put the image in smaller and people can still see the picture in its actual Pixals by clicking on it

How about we just print and handout 'How-To' brochures to everyone showing how to resize and images without having to go through an outside source?

Within the 'How-To' brochure would be the additional mention that in case anyone wanted to see the actual full size photo or image, that a link to the source of the photo or image be posted, as well?

and how about its easier for people just to upload the image and post it in the forum then having to go through resizing it just to comply with the rules

since members do have to upload the image after resizing it in the end

by using Imageshack they can just upload it and post it as a thumbnail which is around 400x400 pixals which has a link to the image which is not resized

so your brochure to resize is nothing unless people actualy like having to resize their images which in some cases sucks

Well the easy answer is because it's more work.
If we resize an image, you can still open the image by right-clicking/control-clicking on and selecting "open image in a new window/tab." It saves us the work of downloading the image, uploading it to imageshack, and then adding a new link. Then, the image is too small to see anything on, whereas a resize is still very useful.

So, in summary, no, because that's way too much work when what we do now is a better route. Capiche?

then why not have a sticky or something asking members to use it?
that way it would save you lot the time of having to edit the images

there are some codes that you can use in PHPBB and IPB which automaticaly resize images to a certain pixal and link directly to the org image

dont know if this board can incoporate these codes
