Roger Waters' Perfect Sense, Part I contains a backwards message in the introduction. It, however, requires a bit of introduction. He wanted the
song to begin with the audio of HAL dying from 2001, A Space Odyssey... but Stanley Kubrick wouldn't give him the rights to use it. So he put this
message in its place:
"Julia, however, in the light and visions of the issues of Stanley, we have changed our minds. We have decided to include a backward message,
Stanley, for you and all the other book partners."
