Daft Punk: Around the World.

Why? Cos no song that is so damn repetative should be so very, very good. And it annoys the neighbours. And makes the floor shake.

At this precise moment I'm blasting Manowar - Hail and Kill with the rest of The Kingdom of Steel in the playlist along with a splash of some awesome Folk/Viking metal from Finntroll and In Extremo! If you dig kick ass metal and dont wear crackjack clothes definately go to a Manowar show, it will melt your face!

Miami Vice theme.
The first song I ever heard on CD!

Listening to Alison Krauss, with Union Station.

Well crafted Bluegrass music.
Her voice is angelic.

Yeah, man. It's not half bad, at all. It's got a fantastic sound to it, too. It sounds better than my B.C.Rich Warlock, anyway. I'm currently writing a new song for my album (which is coming out sometime at the end of this year
). It's a very melodic song, with a very heavy chorus.

Just bought The first "The Darkness" CD. Mostly for the song "I beleive ina thing called love." Yeah its corny but it reminds me of a cross of Glam Rock and hair metal I LOVE IT

Also I've played Kite by U2 from their "All that you can't leave behind" album.
It makes me think of a love I miss so very much.:shk:

He died, right before the CD came out, but was always a big
FOO fan...And the Lyrics were very fitting....
I talked his family into letting me play it at his memorial..

Killswitch Engage - A Bid Farewell

I absolutely love how the drums and rhythm guitar "work" together. In my opinion, KSE are one of the best bands to emerge from the American metal scene in a long time. They're as tight as a duck's arse live, too.

Absolutely amazing band.

Aye, its weird how music has the power to change your mood in an instant. Most of the songs that remind me of my ex-girlfriend are about revenge.
But hey, there's a song on my upcoming album that was inspired by her lies. It's actually quite good.
Very metal.

EDIT TO ADD:

Sorry to hear about your loss, spacedoubt. By "play it", do you mean you played it?

No, I didn't play it personally..
Given enough time, I probably could have..
I'm a good singer, and CAN play the guitar..but have not done either for years.

I have a closet full of stringed instruments...
A Telecaster (copy)
An Ovation 12 String (Glen Campbell edition)
A regular old Fender F-150 6 stringer.
a Mandolin (can only play a little) and a Banjo, which I have only played 2 or 3 times..

I have to say that the non-smoking thing is really helping my voice though..
I may sing again!!!!

Oh, and as I mentioned to another member once..I can play the Digereedoo TOO!..LOL

2 songs I would like to learn are:

The accoustic version of That Foo Fighter song.
And a song by Jet, called "Come around again"
