Okay, well, I was in class today and a fellow student said something about rebel groups in south africa implanting computer chips into children. He didn't know any more details then that, and I was wondering if anyone here has heard of something like this and knows anything else?

Rebel groups aren't exactly known for being high tech

To put a spin on this, a rebel group in south africa now might be a nationalist boer militia. Stories about them using their wealth and capital connections to chip 'natives' might receive better press.

But I agree, any rebel group is going to have better stuff to do than chip people.
