The Goa'ol (If I spelled it right) would do that anyway, Apophis tried it once but he failed. Then Anubis tried but SG-1 discovered the so called loacation of a weapon that can destroy the Goa'ol and it was on Earth so Colonol O'Neel used his acient powers to launch those "bomb squids" and blew up the fleet. But if we didnt have that opportunity then we would get killed by them no matter what untill we worship them as our gods.
